We were invited by one of our clients, Tilbury Douglas as this is currently a project where we are demolishing their school whilst Tilbury Douglas are rebuilding the new one (Kirsty may be able to provide more technical terms). We have attended twice now to explain possible careers in demolition and around the cards required to go onto site–this would be a CCDO course which is a one day course, a Health and Safety touch test and Asbestos Awareness course–they can then go onto site with their green CCDO Labourers course and mainly learn on the job.
